Job Description



    1. Follow Standardized Work Instructions.



    2. Set up, maintain, program and integrate assembly robotic vision systems.



    3. Set up, maintain, and program laser cutters and welders.



    4. Edit, troubleshoot, and program mig and resistance welding assembly robotics.



    5. Edit and troubleshoot PLC controlled machinery.



    6. Welding arc, mig tig and spot basic knowledge;



    7. Manlifts, ladders, roof work, and outside work.



    8. Must follow all OSHA and plant safety rules including, lock-out tag-out, etc.



    9. Supports the teams in operational improvement and training.



    10. Develops Initial Standard Work Practices with the teams.



    11. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production, and performs scheduled maintenance and repairs of production equipment during machine service.



    12. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.



    13. Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.



    14. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.



    15. Any other duties deemed necessary or appropriate.





  1. HVAC Certification



    1. HS diploma/GED + advanced technical training in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs.


             5 - 10 years previous employment in a manufacturing environment – automotive preferred
