Job Description

The HR Generalist is responsible for establishing procedures, maintain records and assist with reporting requirements in the following areas: payroll, benefit plans, personnel records maintenance; administering compensation program; monitoring performance evaluation program and revising as necessary. 
Performing benefits administration and communicating benefit information to employees regularly and during  enrollment; maintaining affirmative action program. 
Assisting in the filing of EEO-1 report annually; maintaining other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
Conducting recruitment effort for nonexempt personnel and temporary employees & conducting new-employee orientations.  
Assisting in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
Recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Maintaining the Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Administering various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
Assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies & procedures and preparing & maintaining employee handbook, policies and procedures manual.
Performs any other duties as deemed necessary or appropriate.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree is preferred. PHR/SPHR is also preferred
5 - 7 years HR experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
