Job Description

Responsible for all accounts payable reporting in the plant, payroll, and special assignments. Ensures that all payables in the plant are properly recorded in various reports and presented properly on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Identify and instantly communicate abnormalities with payables. Ensure all hourly payroll is accurate.

  1. way match processing of invoices and issue resolution.

  2. Monthly statement checking for all open vendor accounts.

  3. Working with purchasing department to resolve any vendor issues.

  4. Weekly vendor payment runs – pre-check reporting and confirmation with corporate for final processing.

  5. Daily bank reconciliation.

  6. Month-end duties including utilities accrual, intercompany reconciliations, & open AP statement.

  7. Reconcile and approve payroll status of employee timesheets and run reports to distribute pay (bi-weekly).

  8. Export hours from timekeeper (AoD) to SAP, determine manual adjustments, and process pay.

  9. Administrative tasks - travel/concur booking & follow-up, assisting other departments as necessary, working with the purchase approval system Fullstep.

  10. Participation in the Layered Process Audit schedule

  11. Participation and cooperation in answering questions and providing information for internal and external audits regarding or related to ISO 9001/IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and customer standards.

Job Requirements

  1. Two years relevant A/P and payroll accounting in a manufacturing environment;

  2. Experience with SAP or similar ERP system where performance metrics are used;

  3. A.S., business/accounting degree OR, 2 years’ experience to 1 year of education equivalency.
